Clubs that train children 6

Children's chess in Zagreb is taught mostly inside the clubs, in weekly groups sorted by age or level, and the clubs below say so on their own pages. Končar trains children in beginner, middle and advanced groups on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, in groups of up to twelve; Dubrava trains two groups on Saturday mornings at the Retkovec primary school and enrols new members all year; Travno trains on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings; Odra opens the Mala Mlaka hall for its younger group before the older one arrives.

Novi Zagreb runs a chess school in its own rooms and online and teaches in schools and kindergartens, and Brestje describes a chess school for children at Bijenička cesta. Children's tournaments, such as the city cadet championships, are listed with the tournaments.
